    Went to pick up the red oak blocks today and to my surprise I don't have to split em. 4 truckloads! Winning. 001.JPG

    Do you at least get to use a saw? :saw: Man, that's too easy. I'd hafta go cut down a tree or something so I didn't feel like I was "cheating". :D

    yup thinking farm boss and splitter may get dusty.. do you at least have to run them thru chop saw to get a good length...

    the big blocks I get I quarter so yeah the splitter is still in action. most of them will fit in the stove. some are gonna be to long but im just stacking them now as I wont be touching these for at least 4 years. when im ready to use them as I take them off the stack the ones that are to long ill give a quick hack in half.

    I get some wood like that, they make great crib ends on stacks. Good for you! Don't listen to the other jealous guys, mine jump into my truck when I whistle too.
