I only have 3 or 4 tanks through this saw, I bought it new in May. Emptied the gas in June and today I noticed that it's leaking bar oil under the clutch cover somewhere. Haven't had time to look into it. It's sitting level on the shelf. Not sure what's going on with it. Any input? It will be going back to the dealer to get repaired I guess. Thanks Guys.

The increase in temp/heat my be warming the oil reservoir like it does the plastic gas cans. Pressure will then be relieved through the bar oiler slit. My husky 450 does it. No sure about my 562. I just store them with a rag under them.

Yup I just checked, it's toast, I'll take it off your hands, but there's good news for you, you can go buy a even bigger saw now!:D

I never met a saw that didn't leak bar oil, even the new ones...

All my saws do it. I try to drain the oil and hang them vertically. At least then the oil is kind of helping.
