Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Not certain what's up here but have an idea. Prayers sent.

 

Ok, I've been keeping this on the down low so really don't know about prayers to help this but I'd like to think I have a family here who would like to hear some things and maybe a prayer wouldn't hurt.
Today I went in for an MRI of my neck. Now before I go into this story let me give you some past history… in 2009 I broke my neck and walked around with it broke for two weeks before I decided the pain was to much. By then, all they could do was give me pain meds because it had already begun healing. So lets go a little further, I herniated L3 and L5 and they cut and scraped L4. Yes, they have been in my back 3 times. so now lets fast forward, every time I turn my head it sounds like grinding machine with glass inside and it's been getting more and more painful. Now I've got pain shooting down the left arm to my fingertips when I turn my head to the left. So… Doc didn't like that "AT ALL" so this is where I'm at now! I'll know tomorrow whats going on, "the results are in" The Place I went to today were adamant about "NOT" telling me what they saw. The Doctor on duty just asked me how long has this been like this and I told him. Then he gave me a stupid look. I didn't think that was funny. Anyway, I'm "SURE" somethings going on, just say a small prayer please that they don't have to carve into my spine again, it's not fun. Thanks all! Your the Best!

 

WeldrDave, I know that if you "receive" your healing from the Lord, then He will bless you with that.
Remember brothers and sisters, when Christ died on the Cross, he was resurrected- but it's more than that- His body was healed of the beating death that the Romans inflicted upon our Lord and Savior. If we have faith and belief to follow, if we're "doers" of the Word, we may receive that same power. We shall be healed of our infirmities, and given the strength to endure that process.
So with all that said, I pray you will cry out to the Lord, and lay this pain and suffering at the Cross......
Heavenly Father, bless our brother Dave to receive your healing, remove from him the pain and torment that is akin to the Enemy, and defeat that Enemy's hold on his neck, and bring Your Light to shine on our brother's heart. And I ask this in the Precious and Beautiful Name of Jesus Christ. Amen, and Amen.

WW, that's one part of me selling my boat and the other is my knees are shot as well. I get painful days just trying to get moving in the morning. I guess it's all part of my many years of military service and I'm convinced that wearing those dam heavy steel toed boots for 30 years didn't help matters either.

 

Just got my results, I guess for now there's not much their planning on doing. I have a herniation disc between C5 and C6, bone spurs from C4 to C7 and degenerative disease in C4.
He said it looks like C4 is starting to decrease in size.?. He said most of the "burning" sensation I'm getting is from the spurs and the shooting pain is from the herniation.

I'm gonna drink more Beer I guess! This getting old crap is for the birds! Thank you all so very much for your prayers. The Doc didn't say what's up next, He just gave me my results via phone call. I got to go see him on Monday and I think he'll schedule me to see someone else I would think. Thank you all again! so now I gotta live with this for a while.

Sad, but I can too easily relate to your problem because I basically have the same problem. Fortunately I got most of the back problem taken care of, or at least as much as possible. Can't do much about the ungodly arthritis down low. Then there is the neck. I've been getting shots in the neck and for a time they helped but now it seems I get about 10 days relief. So, we're done going that route. It was nice when it worked though. This was done at the Spine Center which used to be connected with MI State University but now is privately held.

Now for the hip and leg. Doctor worried because the pain in my leg is not going away and the surgery was on 6/22/2015. It took a year for the leg bone to heal but the pain has not gone. So he wanted an emg and an mri on my lower back. Emg was baffling to the doctor who did it. Leg is half dead. They called me about the results of the mri and want me to see a neurosurgeon immediately. It scares them what they see in my lower spine. Well, I've see it and I live with it but I'm not in any hurry to see one of those guys.

Maybe you are right Dave? We need to drink more beer.
