There is a Craigslist posted for a used 372xp. If it's in good running condition, is this a reasonable price?

This depends on which flavor of 372XP is being offered. There's the (in order of desirability) 75cc XPW version, high top 72cc, low top 72cc, and the newer x-torq varieties.

Condition is EVERYTHING on a used saw value. Could be the best saw ever made but if it looks like chit, it's gonna be a tough sale.

Where i live used 372 s in good condition bring 475 to 550 dollars. Dont be afraid to buy an x torque version their a great saw, i havent had any problems with mine. As mastermech said the 75cc xpw version is the most desireable unit.

99% of 372's on your side of the country will be 71/72cc. Nothing wrong with them, they run awful good.

I would take the info offered here about differences and use eBay as a measure.

In my area huskys are cheap and hard to recoup money with

If it were mint with some extras I'd be interested for 400.

475 is kind of high unless only a few years old and looks really good
$400 I think sounds better. Again we can't see said saw.

Over the past year I sold 3 of them, one being a XT. All three of them are what I would consider being in excellent condition. I ended up sitting on each one of them for about a month before they sold for $500

I can't envision spending anywhere close to $475 for a 372. I have no need for one and it would need to be less than $200 to tempt me to part with my money. With as many saws as I have any new additions need to be cheap or highly desirable.

200 for a rough 372 would be a good deal. Most aren't in your situation, Gary! ! Haha

I wouldn't pay $200 to get a rough one, especially when I have a nice 272 at home that cost half that.
