    We have one of those places where that happens at least twice a year. Thing is, the bridge is solely for a train. There hasn't been a trian over it in many years and the tracks are buried.

    Sounds like a good time to take a bridge out.

    There's a ton of rail lines that are in severe need of repair. That infrastructure is keeping us busy at work with RR based production orders.

    The two railroads, CP & CN solved the problem in this area. Said they couldn't make enough profit here, so they shut down ALL of the lines and moved lock, stock and barrel out of here. They took every foot of track and every Tye but left the bridges and track bed for the municipalities to deal with that. Have not had a train in this county for over 5 years now.

    RR's are a severe pita to work with as well. They don't understand the supply chain. You know, things like lead times?
