Moisture meters worth it?

    I got the Ryobi moisture meter in the mail a little while ago. Handy little thing. About the size of a matchbox.

    Takes some getting used to. Lots of options. Sad to see that some of our firewood still has about 25% moisture content inside.

    I really like the picture/log function. One negative aspect is that it sometimes requires me to replug and/or restart the accompanying app.

    They look so cool I've been thinking of getting one.
    I've read you can gauge its accuracy on a phone book if I remember correctly it should read 8%
