fishingpol brought up how his area was down around 5 inches of rain, that's when I looked up our area.

We just got a quick downpour here. Doesn't compare to a nice soaker kind of rain

It is tough right now. Trees are dropping small clusters of leaves all over. Leaves on smaller shrubs are looking stressed. I gave up on the lawn and haven't cut it for 3 weeks.

We have a small water feature with a pump and I keep that topped off for the birds and whatever else wants to stop in for a drink.

On a positive note, the wood is seasoning quite well. I'll admit it, I've thought about fall weather many times recently.

Glad you mentioned the fall. Normally around this time of year I think the same thing, this year feels different for me. I'm really enjoying summer for the first time in awhile now. Normally I'd be working 2 jobs, one of them would be framing and in this heat it would be uncomfortable. I don't frame anymore:D:D:D

The lack of rain is not helping with the pollen conditions either.

The pollen counts have been an extreme irritation for me this year.

Very dry in the Southern Tier. It's the worst my lawn has looked in the 17 years I have lived here. Sprayed Gly on a food plot today with intentions of tilling and planting next weekend, but it will be a waste unless there is some rain forcasted.

We've mowed the backyard twice this year and the front has never been mowed.

I hope this storm they're saying will hit Monday gives us a nice steady rain all day and night.

We are in the orange (severe) section in the north east corner of MA.

    Send it back to CA.

Fortunately, we've got some rain in the last week and it has really helped the crops. Some areas have got a lot more than us but we're okay so long as we keep getting a little bit every now and then. Well, we got 8 drops yesterday....

It looks like this dry weather will continue, maybe it's time to buy some bottled water or a filter for filtering the Brook water.

our area is also considered moderate for drought. I was out and drove past some fields. They are still green. My lawn is green and I haven't watered it. I do have to water the gardens. Their exposed ground subjects them to drying out. We have been lucky and received some water from a few storms. I think the ocean helps a lot with the weather we get.

We are soggy over here. Got back from utah just after the fourth and it seems like we've got a foot of rain since. Haven't been able to mow the lawn yet this year, tractor would sink out of sight. Squad got called out yesterday, nother drowning. That makes 4 this year in the county that we have recovered.

    Drought watch? Lol
Have had a good summer as far as rain.
The bees like it. Lawn is doing better than it has in probably 10 years.
Stream is high, was hoping to log arch some logs down the bed of we did dry up like it usually does every year.
