I was drinking some water and having an apple when I notice this bug caught in a spider web, in picture 0205 you can see the spider eating its victim (not a good picture), in picture 0206 you can see what I think is spider chit, it seemed like the spider ate him and then chit him out in about 10 seconds. 102_0205.JPG

I LOVE spiders! when those big garden variety make the webs with the zigzag target I catch grasshoppers and the occasional flying insect, creep up and fling the poor sacrifice into the web then watch the spider realize dinner's on and marvel at the speed with which he (she) pounces. I've fattened up quite a few spiders this way even going as far as naming them...:bug:

When I go hiking with my son, I like him to walk in front of me so he runs into the spider webs first. Of course Murphy's law kicks my azz cuz I'm 10" taller than him.

campinspecter always walks ahead of me on trails so I never have to combat spider webs.

I let the hedges get thick next to the walk, that helps too.

I was cruising through my cousins prop. on an atv in Neb. Freshly cleared trails, 'bout a week old. Went through a thick web at around 25mph. Ack, Ack, arms flailing and trying to wipe my face clean. I ran into a tree.
    I don't like spider webs.

what the H is that? Spiders do not bother me, but snakes make me run like a little girl. My wife freaks out when there is a spider in the house.

That looks like a fishing spider. I know spiders are great, but they make my skin crawl.......

I keep a can of spider spray in the house, the basement, the garage, the back porch, and the detached garage. I HATE those things!!!!
