Just back from a Central Australia trip, anyone interested in a few pics?

    Pick the odd one out. The Territory is crawling with these pro campers so our little Audi is a bit out of place. Don't really care when they are lumbering along at 90 kays and we wizz past at 150

    It is actually a lateral/pivot which means it walks down an irrigation run, rotates around and walks back. Watering as it goes.
    It is a good way to irrigate a larger area. It means you can water rectangles as well as circles, like a pivot. The pic of me with the guys near the JD tractor was a pivot site and you can just make out the circular plantings
    Talking to the farmer yesterday and it is still working properly and they are considering another 4 units within the next week or so so we maybe back up there sooner than expected. We will see.
