Oh... I broke a sweat LOL! All day long I set a pace of bust two rounds then retreat to the house to sit in AC, drink H2O, and mop off with some paper towels. I guess I just glow in pics.
I have been busy with family stuff, but today I managed to get my hands on a John Deere brush chipper that I have had my eyes on for a couple years now. It runs, but I gotta figure out why it is not chipping so well. It shreds leaves fine, and that is what I would mostly use it for anyways. Anyhow, the mechanic in me has a new problem to solve!
Yeah, yeah I know. My phone doesn't take pics. I need to charge the camera and snap pics of the John Deere chipper and this Poulan 35cc power head. I haven't even tried to fire it up yet. It was a freebie! If it works I need to find a bar and chain for it.
Taking a little break from the heat outside, so I figured I would ramble here for a minute... The Poulan Pro 35cc definitely needs a little work, looked in the gas tank and the fuel line is toast. So it will go on the project bench with the Homelite 360. Pics soon, please bear with me Lol. Yesterday I got a call to see if I wanted to transplant some flowers from a neighbor's yard before they did some landscaping. Well of course I did! Now, I am trying to replant about 100 Echinacea plants and 50 Irises in 90 degree weather. Not ideal, but beggars can't be choosers. When I get bee hives I know they will appreciate the effort, so I trudge on. Got the news that when my tree co. friend drops the three white Ash trees in the cemetery next door I can have the logs and wood chips! I pitch in and help as ground crew, kinda a barter system. Love me some Ash, and it will have a great home on my stacks. All right, I need to get back to planting. The heat and wind are not doing my transplants any favors. Will ramble more in a bit, and will be sure to update with pics too! Got a nice stack of black cherry splits that are waiting for their 15 minutes of fame. See yinz in a bit!
Cut stacked, in order of pics; black cherry I split last week, almost a cord of red maple, Few rows of ash and cherry,
Piles O' Wood. In order of pics; branch bundles of oak on top of a bunch of apple. Two pics here, they are recent acquisitions. Then a three pallets of pear with a big pine limb on top. Next, a bunch of wood with terrible lighting. Then, the rest of the red maple piled on fatwood pin rounds and huge rounds of pear in the back. Finally, a pile of elm that dropped in Jan. '16. I still have a lot to split. Not shown in any of these pics is the full cord of ash out front from Fall '15 and the split black locust. Wooder is gooder!!!
Mandatory dog pic; My three legged wonder dog. Our Beastly-beast, we lost her to cancer last Thursday. She jumped more fences three legged than four. I have an awesome video of her owning Frasier our American Bully in a tug-o-war in the back yard. Beast dragged his azz all over. What a dog!!
