Thanks DexterDay hope to make the move to a Mtronic or auto tune next time around but this gets the job done for now.
If y'all like them pics, you'll dig this too. Got this saw that came to me in a bucket. Had thought, cool bucket of parts. I dumped it out on the floor in the shop and got to talking roll, and it was all there but a few screws. Turned out to be a sweet lil saw. Waiting on Jesus
Very few people willing to burn pine around here. Most people want Douglas Fir, Oak, Cedar, or Madrone. I give the pine to my dad and he burns it. Nice saws.
I was thinking it was an 840 (?)... It ran with a shot of fuel in the carb. I got it for free and ended up trading it to a buddy. Kinda wish I still had it, or the super 797 that came with it...
Just fixed this one up for a neighbor who inherited it awhile ago from his father in law. The seals were shot and it was badly scored, but it's back in action now!
Few of the saws I'm tinkering with. Almost enough parts to build a poulan 42cc Frankinsaw. Ported and modded of course. Waiting on Jesus
Nice work on porting. I'm pretty sure that's a giant leopard moth. Lunar moths are green. I've been wrong before though....
Cool graphics on the 064 bar! and the Remington logo looks just like the modern logo Remington uses on firearms.........any relation?
That 064 bar is amazing, in the sunlight it is almost blinding it reflects like a hologram in different colors, I cant get a picture that looks like it does in real life Not my saw but one I would be proud of. I am not really familiar with Remington saws or the relationship with the firearms company, though I know there was some kind of tie in with the Mall chainsaw and tool company back in the day.
