What Is It Coming To ?

They are blind to it. Their mind set doesn't allow for them to see what is really going on. Can you imagine what things would be like if rural folks ran the country!

 

Pray that not be so. History has many lessons. Must be a reason there isn't much history being taught in school.

 

It is, without a doubt, going to get a lot scarier in a time frame that no one is going to like................

 

It's a horrible situation I hope and pray for safety of the officers, swift and righteous judgement to those who committed this atrocity, and wisdom for those who must administer the departments.

The media does play a large role in inciting bias and hatred by focusing on "bad news" as well as publicizing the criminal and the criminal behavior creating a copy cat effect. A lot of this started with the Vietnam era. Was this a cosequence of the Vietnam war or simply a change from local news to regional and national news I don't know. There are things civilians don't need to know that occur in war, we have a right to know but the in your face I'm going to publish it for all the world to see is wrong! If you are going to fight a war Douglas McArther is right "there is no substitute for victory" (I believe he was negligent leading up to the Korean War but he was still a brilliant general).

Back on track now we have a serious problem both in police behavior and black distrust and disdain for all police, it will take at least a generation to make significant change in this! Things that need to be done are 1) media focus on good that is being done by the police (don't ignore the bad but focus on the good) 2) civic involvement by black communities including public praise by leaders of the black community and encouragement of the youth to consider a career in law inforcement 3) resume local beat walking patrol of police officers in high risk areas 4) resume the utilization of a posse by local LEO a lot of people will resist arrest if they think they can get away with it but if a friend or neighbor come to them they will be more corroperative as well as less fearful of police misconduct 5) militarization of the police needs to stop there is a place for swat teams but not routine warrent search and arrest 6) decrimionalize much of the drug trade (I hate drugs as much as anyone and would like to see them all go away but it's not going to happen) sell marihuana and herion at pharmacies and place a heavy tax on it 7) the above mentioned things will take a lot of time and will place our officers at more risk much more than they should be under, we need to pay them much better!

Sorry this is rant of mine! I'm sorely dissatisfied with all political parties. I think I'll either vote for nobody or write my own name in for all the good either party is doing!

 

Sad sad sad....gotta support the men and women in Blue...Also firefighters and Paramedics!! Men/Women that run into buildings when most of us would be running out!! Also never forget to support our military!

I'm very thankful that we live out in the sticks and that most of the nonsense is far far away from us but if it one day starts spilling out of the cities and suburbs, I'll be ready.

Hate having to think like that but i refuse to bury my head in the sand.

Never in my 46 years have I considered stockpiling ammo,,,,, never ! Until a couple months ago. Went to go order some and you can't have it shipped to Anywhere in NYS .Not even one box. Checked into it. Blameberg and Adolph Cuomo. Yep , just as I thought . In this busy thing called work and life I didnt catch this banning .
What changed my thinking was this mob mentality that has taken over obvious groups and a local FBI bust that netted 55 guns that were stolen on a 10 day crime spree in central PA that originally reported 200+ guns stolen from a number of gun shops. There's 145+ guns on the street in my area that shouldn't be!
Another thing that bothers me is ,,, this state is slipping gun laws under the table overnight.
If this war on cops continues , Nov. flips a (D) and more RINO's show their azz ,,,, I have a feeling things could get ugly.
I'm not a fear monger or a conspiracy theorist ,,, never have been.
The writing is on the wall,,, it just hasn't been decoded yet.
If this is too political feel free to delete it MODs. It's getting ugly out there and none of our govnmt reps are doing a dadgum thing about it.

 

I'm constantly amazed at the sheer number of people that have chosen raw emotion, political correctness, groupthink and moral relativity over honesty, objectivity, critical thinking and morality.

It's extremely discouraging.
