I could see the sticker. You suck!:p

The muffler, although filthy, did clean up pretty well with a little dawn. And shined up pretty easily with just a purple Scotch Brite pad. It seems to be a pretty high quality stainless steel.

Not to enable your CAD or anything buuuutttt... I wondered when I bought it if I really needed a saw this size anymore. I find myself making excuses to pick it up and use it.

    I'll get a 6100 when you get a 7910! Pinky swear!

Edit: I reserve the right to skip the 6100 and go straight for the 81cc saw based on the 6100 chassis my dealer teased.

I see you had a little inspiration from shark week with the gills on the muffler.

If it works and costs less, then it's not kool-aid. ;)

I do almost all my mufflers like that. It's cheap and easy. Its the tin knocker in me. Unless the saw interferes.

I'm thinking I should maybe I should rustle up a 24 or 28 inch bar n chain for it

No worries Clem. I expect a little ribbing from friends. :handshake:

I don't usually get to buy new stuff like that. I was fairly upset to buy a new saw and have it look like a used saw imediately. The touch up paint comment was a nice way of me saying I was expecting to be told to pound sand! I was astounded to be given an entirely new powerhead no questions asked!:jaw:

Although I do keep my equipment clean and well maintained, after 10ish full cord with it I could care less about a little missing paint. Heck most of the creamsickle was wore right off my old Stihls when I sold 'em.

Yeah I could tell it would have flaked off the whole face of the case down to bare mag. In short order. The dealer agreed it was a paint issue and handed me a new powerhead no questions asked.
