Judy says the peas are a nice height this year. She can't reach high enough to reach the end of that pea vine. In addition to this, she says they are growing more as we now have a lot of new peas coming up that are from 2" to a foot tall. Rain does them good and we finally got a little bit last night but we've been watering them too. Notice the height of the sweet corn too. Can hardly wait...

A little further down the row they are not as tall but still a good height.

There's going to be a good crop of raspberries.

Had fresh raspberries on a bowl of cereal this morning and will have again tomorrow. Strawberries are basically done now.

Fantastic! We don't have any corn around here that is close to that tall. The saying around here is knee high by the 4th of July and we're right on schedule. Your garden is very nice, Kudos!

Here are pics of our garden. As you can see Dennis we are a ways behind you. We didn't plant until May 31st.

Actually I've not seen any other corn in MI yet that is this high. I feel privaledged. Now if we had the sunlight that bogydave has, that corn would be way over our heads.

btw, those are 90' long rows.

we get good stalks, but poor ears,
temperature & the intensity of the sun are important factors for corn.
Tried it a few years, not worth the space & effort to get very little results.

I can't grow corn here. Just as it ripens, the coons knock it over and eats all of it. Nothing stops them. I don't know how the farmers get corn crops around here.
