How much would you pay? It's 5 years old and everything works. They want $4000 or best offer.

WAAAAAAY too much......warranty has run out on all electronics, almost done on the stove body as well. Half of that....$2000-$2500, cash is fair. I sell brand new, crated ones for $3599, and that includes 2 tons of pellets........the Accentra Insert is no longer made....been reengineered, now called the 52i

whether buying new or used, sometimes its important to know when to walk away from a deal. I've always been amazed that a guy will attempt to talk you down and get the lowest price he can, but when its time for HIM to sell something, all of a sudden its considerably more valuable that it should be....

When buying a used unit, think used car. Its mechanical, even if its broke, its fixable (usually), but there's always a reason someone is selling it. And in the case of a pellet stove, that reason will usually be a lie. o_O

Seems to be very knowledgeable people about this product.. I too have an accentra insert, is there any issues with this stove that may need address or keep an eye on?? P.S. HOOT, I love my stove right now being 2 years old. -10 to 10 deg and this keeps my 2500 sq ft home a comfy 75, up stairs 68 to 72.

It's still in use. I've only talked to this person through email. They are getting rid of it because they purchased a new furnace and don't use the insert much. They might be older and have a hard time with pellet maintenance.

Still waiting for a response. Might have to keep searching.

My 61 is heating nicely also. My mother-in-law loves the pellet heat because it is instant. They are running a Biasi coal/wood burner and running coal now, but they hate it. Short burn times, a but ton of ash, and a cool house. It's doing the kitchen, bedroom, and bath just fine. But the living room is a nice box.

No just the stove fan blowing, all rooms down stairs are open , using 2 bags a day when its that cold... I'm very happy with this stove and would make a great salesman for Harman for now, will see down the road when stove gets some miles on it.

I've got 5 years on my P61 and the only thing I've replaced is the igniter and a door gasket. I'm having an air issue now (black ash) but the stove is running great.

this is all good, but somewhat atypical........I am glad it works for HarmanHeat, but Im posting here to say that this output, for that square footage is somewhat of an aberration. His likely heats because of the fact that air moves well in his home, and his place is likely well insulated and sealed. Everyone who has a 2500 square foot home wont see the same success he does....just wanted to say that......

Glad you like your unit, tho!

My 2200 sq ft raised ranch is nicely heated with my p68. I have 4 in wall. 12 in attic. Thermo windows with storms. House had a thin layer of insulation when resided 8 yrs ago. Install also included sealing the house. We use a double entrance most of the time. (Can't risk letting the cats out). My wife isn't happy unless it is 76f where she is. Even with double knee replacements, she is willing and able to keep the stove loaded as long s I keep the bags nearby. Keep in mind this is in Maine.
