Keeping the tools handy, works great, , stays put, if you look by the wedge you can see another place I can hang it, sometimes I hang the tongs on the end, I have another magnet to hang it on when I go vertical
Now you're thinking, I've been meaning to make a hatchet holder, those magnets strong enough for that?
I wasn't sure if they would work or not even though they are 95 pound pull, but ya they work even with the splitter vibrating like they do. When I first got them I stuck one on the wood stove, it really holds tight on there I could barely get it off, I hung my x25 and my X11 on it. It isn't there in that picture but I just stand my X11 up lean it against the tire and I can reach it easy, I think it's better than a hatchet with the 17" long handle you never smack your knuckles
