    This probably should have gone with another thread that had a video of this woodpecker at work. That is a huge hole he has created. Tough pecker for sure.

    We had a Pileated Woodpecker land on a stump from a pine we cut down two years ago, he kept looking for the rest of the tree until he finally flew off, we had a good laugh.

    They make a heck of a racket. I know that when they start on a tree, it is doomed. Maybe it was before they started, but is is certain after they get going.

    Love watching the hummingbirds. Their flight is like no other. We grow a lot of flowering plants to keep them very busy. Some use the hummingbird feeder, but most prefer the flowers.
