So the other day i quickly ran down to my brothers house that they are building and the excavator had pushed over a huge red oak tree. They pushed the entire tree over against another tree that my brother wants to keep. So me being the good brother that i am, i ran over there and quickly attempted to cut the tree off the other tree. I am not as experienced in cutting trees as some of you guys but when i attempted to make my cut, the tree pinched my bar and chain. Broke my only wedge i had with me to try to get it out. Long story short, i got it out but now the tensioner screw is extremely tight and hardly moves at all. Have any of you seen this issue and if so is there a fix for it??? Any help and critiques will be greatly appreciated. I am very new to this and am worried that ive messed my saw up.
Did it bend the tensioner when it pinched your bar? I've never changed a tensioner but I think it's pretty easy.
Well i havent had an opportunity to look yet. Im hoping thats all it is, although i dont know what else it could be...
