    Makita- same as Dolmar just different case colors. That saw has a cat in the muffler as such it tends to run very hot- Hot enough to melt the gearing of the oil pump assembly( $60). Also factory tune is pretty lean which adds to the hot issue. Yes it has the @$&^$# limiters on the carb needles. Tuning for a little richer mix and removing the cat from the muffler will wake that unit up quite a bit. There is also a big bore kit for it - moves it up to the 80cc class for less than what you paid for the saw, should you discover any problems with compression. It is a great saw, I have 2 of the 64xx class and 2 79xx class they are my primary units ( 3 are dressed on orange, 1 one in blue gray)
