Scrapping the 12 year old cheap piece of Saturn today...no idea what I was thinkin the day I dragged this one home...going to get 300 bucks for it ifn I can get it to the junk yard on four wheels...my mechanic is giving me a 50/50 chance of makin it there...said don't hit any potholes too hard or the whole rear end might fall off...can't imagine why...I'd like to beat the livin crap out of it on the way but the piece of chit would prolly break just for spite...I'd prolly pay money to watch it get crushed...not sorry to see this one go...but at least I know I squeezed every last penny out of the hunk of junk.
I just sold my 1997 SL2 with a dead cylinder and 247,000 miles for $500!!! A guy cane and got it. Well that was about a month ago
Frame rot is a death sentence to cars up here, pretty inevitable in about a dozen years without a lot of extra attention, it was pretty obvious early on that this piece of chit was not worth the attention
Yep same one as the pics, looks ok until you look underneath. Just got back from the junkyard, the guy told me that because this car had the Honda 3.5 v6 it was worth less, if it had the 4 banger GM he would have given me another 100 bucks. The kid that came and got it from the office looked a little too excited to drive it back into the lot, I told him to keep it under a hundred, to which he replied "nope"
Honda isn't what it used to be. They are getting better again, but they fell asleep for like 20 some years. My cousin has an 04 vue with the Honder motor. Biggest POS they've ever bought, and they've bought a few steamah's.
