    I was fortunate enough to be standing on the sidelines when my boss buried his JD nearly like that.
    just happened to be a D8 cutting in a road adjacent to the property that made extraction easy

    I was fortunate my my boyfriend back then (WWW) had a tow chain and 4wd when I did that to my old Supra.

    Boy, that sux. When you sink 4wd iron that size it quickly gets difficult to find stuff big enough to extract it! Things here in NE Ohio have just finally dried out enough in the last 4-5 days for the farmers to work on getting 1st crop hay cut and some ground worked up for planting...and boy are they hitting it hard now! They are chopping the alfalfa field across from me right now (literally, right now) they've got that 1100 HP Krone Big X forage harvestor just a roarin! Just made 30 acres of hay disappear in 1/2 hour! (OK, maybe 45 minutes)
