Did not go for it yet. I have work to do on that site on Wed. Dragging a trailer there. Just waiting to get an idea of how much of the Cherry I can take so I know what trailer to haul.

Darn tent caterpillars get into the Cherry tries around here. Usually they stress out the tree. Cherry trees around here usually aren't as big as what you are showing.

I see we have the tent caterpillars starting again here. Found a cherry with all the leave eaten today.

I don't like that. Even though I did.

Stupid tent caterpillars. We have those here, but even if they eat all the leaves, the trees tend to rebound well.

savemoney , I'll have to get a picture of this one huge cherry in my woods. I've never seen a bigger one.

They are both great. They are just different. The apple wood leaves a very mild sweet taste, milder and sweeter than any other wood IMHO.

Yeah, the worst part is he absolutely doesn't care! He says it keeps him from getting a tan line! :hair:
I would get him one of these shirts [IMG] but he couldn't wear it at work anyways. Those Duluth Trading Co Long Tail Tees could work but they don't have 'em in hi viz safety yellow!
    Are we de-railed yet? :emb:

Pics or it didn't happen? Well it did. Couldn't get a few of the real big Maples (or have the wisdom not to try and lift them) and couldn't fit all of the Cherry, but got a good size load. Think the trailer is 7 wide and 14 long. Loaded up over a cord for sure. Slow and steady on the way home.. IMG_20160602_202258058_HDR.jpg

Nice Grab there! You'll like the cherry, just make sure to keep some back for the ol' smoker or BBQ grill...
