    Sure....Why Not, Dennis?
Remember telling Judy to take off everything? From the stove...the ashes from the stove.
My back flared up again yesterday, so if we were to need a fire, it would be the responsibility of Mrs. Eric VW

Ya, mine flared up too. I hacked away at that big oak hanging over our barn. Hate to say it, but that also meant climbing a ladder. Funny because I could not get a rope over that limb to save my soul. Then I climbed up on top of the barn and got it the first throw.

It sure would feel nice to sit with your back to the fire..... I have a bad back for a 44 year old man and I just love the feel of the heat on my spine. In fact its about time for me to get a fire going myself.

Which reminds me. Have you ever noticed that most times when a fire is going outdoors in the cold temperature that men usually stand with their backs to the fire while women do the opposite?

Hadnt really noticed the woman part but I know that winter sleeping bags have different insulation spots for ladies bags. When I used to drag my wife along on ice climbing trips she would complain about cold hips from sleeping in the mommy bags that we owned... we didnt know at the time that they are made differently from the mens.

I like how sheepishly you wrote that. I thought I was done 2 weeks ago. I just started another fire for the cool, damp overnight hours.

This is getting silly. It's May 22nd for cryin out loud.

66 in the house, time to close the windows.

Made a little stove food with the new little echo today, took out a little dead tree, had to go play with it, I will burn some of this tonight.

Still hovering around freezing at night, planning on burning 1 load a day for the next few weeks. 1/2 loads though, couple rounds, couple splits and I'm good until the next night. These conditions are where the BKK shines.

One internet site said 32* for me tomorrow night. Tired of bringing my flower baskets in. it's already late May! I am guessing the breeze/wind will do them in before freezing temps. COOL thing is WWW went to a plant sale for me yesterday morning!!!!!! 3 Iris starts and couple other hardy perennials:)
