yes, it was the dogs that Granny came over to supervise while we were gone. Little dogs, little poops but lots of poop as there is three of them to produce it.

Here they are keeping themselves warm while Campinspecter and I were wood cutting a couple of weeks ago.

We're hoping to run out to the Grand Canyon area when we get out there tomorrow. Then I'm hoping to to go shoot some guns that we didn't get to do the last time. Also the shark tank is online for this round too..... Its not everybodies cup of tea, but I enjoyed it enough the first round to go again.

    Red Rock Canyon? Wheres that?

Bummer about the eye surgery, but it's pretty straight forward and has minimal down time. They did it to my Dad and he only had the one eye, went from being almost blind to driving again. Hope it goes well with you.

My bionic knee is now better than the other one.

The sweaters were a Christmas present to them from our youngest daughter.

The dogs are toy rat terriers. Toy meaning size as Rascal (red/white) our male has four rat kills to his credit. Nearly got himself a squirrel but it was a little faster than a rat. Cricket (black/white) has a very strong tracking nose on her. Take her out in the bush on a non-trail and she will bring you back the same way you went out. Shadow (grey) is our flying squirrel. She is very prey driven and enthusiastic about everything. Ever since she tried to chase a squirrel into a tree and found out that there was a 4o ft.rock bluff between her and the tree, she figures she can fly. Off the 6 ft high deck and over the 5 ft. retaining walls at full tilt. They also figure they are a bull mastiff/German shepherd mix as they were working as a pack to take down a 300 lb. black bear this summer. Fortunately when called back, they came and the bear took off at full speed in another direction.

Anyway the end of a successful day although I spent more time on FHC than bookkeeping. Clothes almost dry on the clothes line. Grocery shopping postponed until tomorrow - ergh I really don't like grocery shopping.

Thought this post might make the 100 pages.

I have to agree on the knee thing, that was the best thing I did, and I'm sure the other one will be another up & coming adventure by the way IT feels.

The manufacturer that we were in Vegas for booked the trip with this company. I was not quite relieved when they overbooked that day and showed up with black vehicles and not pink ones

I have pictures somewhere from the trip 6 years ago. If I can find them I will post some

Still playing with new system (posting from it in fact).

Got to make up my mind shortly or I'll be playing too many games and not getting any work done.

Should I turn secure boot off, wipe Windows 8 off the box and do a native 64 bit Linux install on this bad boy or do I wipe my two VirtualBox Linux machines, install a large 64bit VirtualBox Linux machine, update Windows to 8.1 and use Windows as my boot system?

In helping me make this decision you should understand that I'm a bit bender and layering operating systems on top of other operating systems is my version of playing games.

BTW, this new box has the horses, it is 30+ times faster than my old unit. Just a might larger too.
