I guess people figure dog crap is bio-degradable so Mother Nature will take care of it. She does....but usually not before some little kid steps in it in their own yard when they don't even own a dog.

On a side note, you know the best way to deal with a little kids tennis shoe jammed full of fresh dog poop ?? Squint your eyes, tightly close your lips and hold the shoes one at a time at arms length and use your air compressor. I perfected that technique when my three kids were little... Oh yeah, don't forget to take the kids out of the shoes first....

Check out Dandelion brand sprayers. They operate on a drip feed system and there is zero drift with the application roller. Might be just what you need!

    My two cents--
There is a product called, "I Must Garden", makes a lot of organic sprays for gardens, I swear by the rabbit and deer repellent. Doesn't stink, and the garlicky-minty smell dissipates in a day or two to humans, but remains effective for at least a month. I understand they make one for dogs and cats.

2 pieces of bread in a bowl
Melt some ex lax in some bacon or burger grease and pour over bread along with some milk.
The dog will eat it go home and an hour later relieve himself all over owners kitchen floor .
Owner will say to dog " what did you get into when you were out? Your not going out again for awhile !"
Make take 2 or 3 treatments. Less if the dogs owner is aware of where his dog travels too.
If this doesn't work start shoveling up offenders and deposit in owners lawn. Ive done this and it stops eventually. Also done it with trash being deposited in my yard. The trash stopped immediately because they remembered what they threw in my yard.

A couple old guys let their dogs poop in my yard near every day, it's the far end of the yard and I don't let it bother me,,free fertilizer! (no human traffic)
If it was happening up around the house or my garage,,it'd be a problem.

Does anyone have a good homebrew deer repellant? Well, other than 150 grains.

The amount of deer poo I see in my yard is about 99% less since I've gotten dogs.

As long as they don't keep following them and chase them out, good deal!

When my wife and I got married eons ago, there was a corner country store across the fence (our fence) but daily they would let their pair of dogs (big dogs) loose and they always would come into our yard to do their thing. I asked but got no satisfaction. So, being the easy going guy I was at the time, I simply took our handy 14" scoop shovel and gathered some evidence. For many days when they opened their store, what do you suppose they found right square in front of the door? Okay, let those animals do their thing if they have to but you'll pay and if you forget to look outside when you open the store, guess what that first customer of the day will find? In addition, just for kicks and giggles, they had sitting benches on each side of the center door where you entered the store. They also had a gas pump. Hum, I thought one day. Looks like 3 more places to deposit said evidence. Then I happened to thin too that they lived there and had a side entrance to their home which had 3 or 4 steps going up to their door. Oh my! Another really nice spot. In time it worked. I often wonder how many names I got called.
