Selling an old school 28" 3/8 .050 es light bar. Only has a couple cuts on it, as new. Just not getting used, and I've decided to sail the saw it belongs to, so it has to go.

I paid too much for it when I bought it, I'm taking a loss, but it is what it is.

How about $130 shipped conus/Midwest, and I'll throw in 2 brand new(no cuts) Oregon lgx chains, full comp. West coasters maybe split shipping??

I sent out two slightly smaller bars today and it was $15 priority, so shouldn't be much more than that. I'd say under $20 for sure.

Partial trades considered if you have a nice20" 3/8 .050 lightweight (preferably total/tsumura) small husky mount bar. I have plenty of chains. Let me know if you have a nice one to trade. If you'd like a reference or two, I'll oblige. Thanks for looking.

I've been informed that I'm way high on my price. I'm not trying to hammer anyone.

That being said, how about $130 shipped conus/Midwest for the whole shebang? I think that's fair.
If you're on the west coast, maybe split shipping with me? I'm pretty easy to get along with.

Your price is your price. You own the merchandise now, so ultimately, you can decide how much/little you are willing to take in exchange. If your price is "high'', then the market will let you know because no one will pay your asking price. However, I would let your offer out there for at least 2+ weeks and I would maximize exposure (CL, Ebay, etc.) before I would make judgment as to whether your asking price is reasonable. If you are in a hurry, then , you will likely be tempted by the low-ballers out there who will buy your stuff in order to "flip" it to make a profit. A lot of it depends on how much patience you have.

Thanks Mike. I'm in no hurry, just not up on dealer pricing as I rarely step into the stihl dealer. It appears that the guy that told me I was way off was not being honest. Classic low-ball tactic I guess.

I've been schooled on the light bar retail prices now, thanks to mdavlee.
