Popped up to my neighbors to take care of some small dead standing red oak and ash + one ash that was down but off the ground. Small diameter stuff but very dry - will set aside for winter after next - I'm light on harder woods for that winter. A couple pics of the load and split and stacked. Probably close to 1/4 cord, but all adds up. The one long log was left because my PS-510 wouldn't restart at the end. I've been having this issue and I think my coil is about done. 5th or 6th time it doesn't want to start after shut down hot. Dang coil is pricey! Cheers!
NH_Wood I probably said before but your stacks are so pretty.. work of art. You can tell the wood is dry
Just when I get to feeling pretty good about my firewood piled up for the OWB, you come along and post more pics of your precisely piled pallets!
Winter is comin , gotta get the Looks like that little trailer will haul quite a lot Real nice :stacke:s NH_Wood
Those stacks are too pretty to burn. Nice haul today- nothing small about adding to the pile a few years out.
Definitely dry - cracked loud when splitting and no dampness in the heartwood - pretty much ready to go except for the first few rounds from the bottom trunk. Cheers!
