What kind of wood does this look like ?

    I agree, that one piece looks like hackberry, my first thought also. It seems strange that only one piece would be hackberry. I agree with the others on ash, pine, and mulberry for the rest, and oak in the 2nd pic. I am guessing pin oak to be exact.

    Wondering about that top wood. Mulberry bark has small horizontal marks. I don't see those. Could it be Osage Orange? Buck County, PA is in the range.
