    Quick surf fishing trip with a friend after work today. The surf out front was way too rough for fishin so we hung in the inlet for a few hrs till high tide forced us out. No fish but still a fun evening.

    I grilled burgers tonight, got done routing the wires for the new speakers on the pontoon, then burned two big piles of twigs in the fire pit. That was really nice.

    The patio is clean, and we had a nice fire.

    We even had a smore each. Gooder.

    Well I've done soul searching here lately...I'm physically and mentally drained. I thought my new work hours might benefit me and my well being(basically the same or a bit more than "normal "... Well it's not. I volunteered to swing my hours to cover the 3rd shifter that left hours with the 2nd shifter, and to work said hours. Well that lasted like three weeks. Now someone has decided that said and greed upon hours are not enough... So basically I'm at worse hours than before.... I guess that's what I get for volunteering and trying to help a situation out....and trying to make lemonade out of lemons... Hopefully there's a glimmer of sun rays somewhere.... Off my soap for now...

    Coming from a guy who has been pulling 70-80 hour weeks for quite awhile now, if the hours don't suit you, tell'em where to go and how to get there. Just make sure they're looking forward to the trip. ;)

    met up with Deer Meadow Farm , at forestry expo got to shake hands.. got home box's called hour of work planted rose bushes for momma of my kid... now to grill some steaks but no stacking today maybe tomorrow!
