Slightly off topic, but where can I find pic of the "linked xj"? Now the warm weather is here I have an itch to start working on my tracker/truggy thing.

Nice haul by the way. Trailers sure make it easy.

Hate to be that guy, but once you close the tailgate, there's still room for another 8 or 10 small rounds vertical.:D

    Not a loaded pic...

But I'll post one when I leave for cwn877 GTG at the end of the month! Me and Barcroftb will be heading out to Pa in my new little Diesel toy with a couple ATV's!

Nice. I was thinking that didn't look like the 2500 then I saw the 1500 and eco deisel.

I almost got the deisel Colorado for work but it got changed to a gas dodge 1500 crew cab

Been talking about a new truck for 3 years. Finally got tired of talking about it. Since my F-150 failed me on the way to Swags (our first GTG), I have never been able to trust it. Even though it's been as reliable as ever? I can't regain the trust to drive 300+ miles to our property in Ky or the Cabin in Pa.

I still kept it because my son will be 16 in a year and his school is only 2 miles from our house. :) Plus, once it's his, he will be fixing it ;) lol. With the help of dad.. :D

I hope that ecodiesel works well for you.

I want to like the rams, but I've been burnt by mopars, and that all Italian motor is well, Italian.

I know a forester with one. He probably has about 60 to 75k on his by now. I haven't talked to him since he got it though. When I asked his company what he thought of it, they said he liked it.

It's been out 3 years now.. And has decent reviews.

Given the choices for towing, gas mileage, and torque in the 1/2 ton market? It was the only choice.

I wanted the GMC/Chevy for looks. Ford for their mid motor (5.0 L truck engine has good numbers and has been reliable /wasn't going with a V-6 gas ecoboost... Makes no sense).

So, I'll be the test dummy :) For anyone second guessing

I scaled this one out a little while back just to get an idea. It's all ash that was dead so it isn't the heaviest stuff. I'm about 14.5 long between the boards with basically one or two layers. I don't know my exact empty weight with this combo though. Rough guess is around 9000. With what the trailer axles weigh plus tongue weight that's probably close to max for a 7k trailer. 20160312_160030.jpg 20160313_101500.jpg

Went to a buddy's house today to help with a tractor problem. Got a serious case of truck envy. He bought a 2016 Dodge 3500 (single rears) Cummins, 4x4, crew cab. Has a 6 Spd manual with a manual transfer case. And the best part? Leather seats and no carpet. Vinyl floors.

Probably the first time I've ever wanted a Dodge!

Clean it with a water hose!! Nice!

    I wanted a 2500/3500... But couldn't justify it:(

You can buy a small decent house or a brand new double wide trailer for the cost of a load deisel these days
