Strange eats

    Never tried this before. Whats it like? Is there something that comes close to it that you can compare? We have a very high concentration of Grizzly and Black bear here but Ive never been offered any to cook on the bbq.

    Sushi I will try anything, belly fat tuna , BBQ eel, octopus . Have tried squirrel , alligator, venison , goose. Years ago My buddy had some black bear , I didn't try it at the time , he said it was greasy .

    Ive had bear before but it was cooked teriyaki style so thats really all I remember as far as taste. I was told that it can be very greasy if its not prepared correctly.

    I enjoy some of the new types of fruit and veggies now available at the markets. Like the green cauliflower, burpless cucumbers or the black tomatoes. Also some very interesting fruits that we didn't use to have. No interest in trying wild meats other than venison. I think I would eat wild turkey, or pig if it was served to me.
