Took these pics yesterday up to camp, it's that time of year when they are shedding and have rubbed themselves raw trying to remove ticks. This a cow and her yearling, aka, last years calf. Calf is mostly behind mom.
Twin Mountain, they were right off the side of Rt. 3 in a muddy Spruce bog. The type of place you look for them.
