    Al,
    Very sorry to here your Maltese passed away... that's a very hard loss to deal with.... I watched some of our dogs mourn in the past when we lost one of the pack,,, they have feelings just like us, no doubt ... I set the heat for 61 here over night, so far it didn't come on, but close... I'll run the furnace anyways just to keep some heat in the basement, laid up stone but has been maintaining at 47, so no pipes will freeze... Sounds like your have your hands full like us here with animals.....All good karma in my book,,, the owners too :D

    Thanks, Charlie, I appreciate that. Yes, they do feel.

    I also ran the furnace a few minutes ago as the outside temp is down to 4° already.

    It's down to 5 according to the Schoharie weather, but the outside thermometer says a big zero... Took on 191 gallons of oil , so we'll have enough for hopefully two years... I will run the furnace in the mornings just to keep the basement tempered..
