i was heading out to the back yard and saw movement in the wood shed ,more and more kept appearing ,i saw 6 at once i think i got 5 in one picture , i knew there was one in there during the winter but this was a surprise ,i usually cant stand the things but i found myself enjoying the show,must be a nest back there.
Yup. Call Dave Gunther. Or call my wife. She is a good shot. But she is slipping a bit. Only shot 7 chipmunks so far this year. But then, I haven't seen any chipmunks as of late...
When I say "squirrel" I better be opening the door or the dogs will be jumping up on the glass. These two aren't so good at catching them. I had a mix once that was really quick and would get a few of them.
My Mom has several that she feeds. I always ask her when she is going to make me some squirrel gravy.
I had a pet squirrel some years back. I found him when he was just a baby. So I kept him in the house so he couldn't run around like the other squirrels. He grew fairly fast and got nice and fat. When I felt the time was right, he became a wonderful dinner!
