yep, I just lit the stove on April 29th. This isn't the way things are supposed to be here in central PA.
Your not the only one... Had the stove on for 2 days now, cloudy and cold here. 45 degrees now with a low of 39 tonight. 74 inside..,
Are you talking about a fire in the stove or ........ Remember, this "smiley dude" is using his left hand..... I lit up a fire in the backyard fire pit tonight
You know that you can only get a like on a post about lots of snow in April on a site that worships wood burning Ive been burning again every night for a bit now and see that in our forecast we have lots of sun and warm weather coming and Im thinking man that will be nice but jeez what about my stove??
Finally broke out some dry sticks this morning... Cold and rainy... Earlier...But warm and dry inside......Now..
Cold, rain and wind here. Still got hot coals in the stove from last night. might just throw some wood in again today.
Yes sir I started one last night and the night before at about 10pm. 38ยบ outside this morning and that fire just worked wonders.
Pretty normal for up here. Although, I neglected to have one last night and awoke to the house at 61. Brr. Was 30 OAT. Small fire when I got up, but it's still only 68 in here. Has to be weird for you guys/gals farther south.
It is not that cold in here but a bit damp; it is a drizzly day outside with the temp 57F. I think I will light a fire to drive away the dampness.
We've been experiencing quite nice weather, so this means we also suffer from fire withdrawl. Maybe 3 fires in the last couple weeks.
