Forgot how much fun hand loading firewood is! I need to get my trailer back. The big pieces are 34" across, Those are my firewood tools in the last picture, an 066 with a 28" bar, an 029 with 3/8 full chisel chain 16" bar and my 192t for limbs.

For what I do Eric VW these saws work out great. When I started heating with wood 17 years ago I bought the 029 and the 066. I had a small mini mac for limbs. When it went to saw heaven I went with the 192t. I have been very happy with my choices.

Iceman, do you use the top handle a lot? Use it mainly for cutting the tops? Is that a narrow kerf? Were you able to keep everything from rolling into the lake?

I use it all the time. I use it for a lot more than I probably should, LOL! It is balanced well and I found a slightly more aggressive chain on Baileys web site for it. Most of the time I grab the 029 unless I get into bigger stuff. I didn't lose a round to the lake, but it definitely was in the back of my mind, LOL!

lots of knots, most of the snarly stuff after splitting goes to a buddy with an outdoor boiler. I quit trying to stack the big uglies.
