My Tree Service guy (Steve) is running into one after another of these Oak jobs. He calls them YooHoo's. Meaning he is working at a house and a neighbor says "YouHoo can you come take a look at a tree I want to have cut down". This will be 8 Oak trees this month and they are all good size. Already unloaded the trailer of the large rounds then thought about a picture. The Yard is a wreck and a few pictures of it. Okay now here is one for the books. Got a new phone last week as I wrote in one of my posts. Just asked my grandson why the pictures look so terrible? I forgot to remove the plastic from the lens. The rest of the pictures came out clear. What do you know?

Don't feel bad.....I gave my son a car with 246K on it that still had the protective plastic film on the radio display!
First thing he did was remove it and say "Finally!"

They don't make things like they used too. Years ago when the kids were young I bought a 35mm Cannon with a couple of extra lens and none of them had plastic on them. Oh well now I will know in 10 years when I get a new phone to remove the plastic.

My mom leaves the plastic on her phones until it falls off too. She got mad when I ripped there film off the last one of hers. She really just needs to buy a screen protector and be done with it.

That's a lot of good looking wood you have to rip through.

Like I posted he has more Oak to take down and there is no way I can keep up so I run an ad on Craigslist to help get rid of the wood when I get buried as I am now.

    Firewood for processing

Thanks Dennis, already got 3 calls as well as Kyle from FHC coming this Sunday and my buddy Mike (living off the grid) the Hermit. So I should move some of this out of here before the rest of the wood gets brought in. Rained most of the day here so Steve (tree guy) didn't work today. I have to tell you I look for your posts daily even though I may not reply to them. I like seeing that you are still at it and healthy. Wishing you and yours all the best and just for Sh*ts and giggles did you ever wonder why your wife is so Ornery? You see my wife is the Sweetest woman and it's because she married me.

Thanks Chopy. Are you following the thread Live from the GTG | Firewood Hoarders Club ?

Great you have some interested in the wood already. We had the rain last night. Sounds like a big thunderstorm with hail went south of us. It really cooled off today too.

Oh yes, I've often wondered why she gets so ornery. After all, with me being so sweet and all....

You can dream but keep in mind that sometimes we have nightmares instead.

Not with that much wood in my yard could that ever be considered a nightmare. Again, it would be a fantasy! Oh honey, look at this pile of logs. Disclaimer, she thinks I'm nuts. She could be right, that's why I have you folks, to tell me I am not!:loco:

I guess it depends on what side of the fence one is on.
I am on the same side as you.
All non wood (and pellet and coal) heaters are nuts if they think we are the nuts.
