Get well soon. I'm new to hookaroons and have already experienced a glance off a log. Didn't get myself but opened my eyes a bit. Sorry to hear about your accident. I was however relieved after seeing the title of the thread. Log splitters, chain saws and sawmills used by folks on this site can do much more damage than a sappie. Hope surgery went well and you heal up quickly!
