Happened to drive by a spot out in the country that is owned by the city and is the communal tree dump spot. My hoarder instinct kicked into gear. I raced back home to get the trailer paranoid someone will beat me back. They didn't and I was not too proud to put a scrounge on!:woodsign:

The brick is a 3"x6" paver for a little reference to size. 20160409_202023.jpg 20160409_202140.jpg

I could feel the lazy coming out of my bones as I rolled up some of the rounds onto the trailer. Spring training has begun and it is time to get back in shape after a lazy winter.

Even with all the ash and other trees we have, if I found something like that, I would also be tempted to get it. That is one sweet find.

I do the same thing greenstick. Swing into the city branch/grass collection site every day on my way out to the farm. Never find rounds like that though, just branches. Occasionally, some are in the 8 inch size and I take them. It all adds up and I figure I'm saving wear and tear on the city equipment used to turn it all into chips.

You should get a tax credit for that. Try it and let me know how it works out for you.
