I found a mc culloch 250 for sale for $40 running, on off switch is broken and the choke knob is broke, I haven't seen it in person but he said it could use a cleaning. He said it runs like a champ. I'm thinking I should jump on it, what's everyone else think? I'll try to pull up the pictures he sent me.

A 250 runner for $40 isn't bad at all. Does it come with a bar and chain, too?

    Parts are still available.

A Super 250 at that price is an outright steal.

Hoping to pick up Monday or Tuesday, (depending on the opinions of you guys and gals that know more about it than I) $40 for a pretty big old saw with bar and chain, not sure if there's any other bars or chains, it runs, anyone see why I shouldn't buy it?

$40 is the cost of an average monthly gym membership, for the same money you can have a lifetime of weightlifting workouts lugging that thing around.
