I am sworn to secrecy but I think he said he had too many. He wasn't the only one having a few.

I know what the other lever is for in the cab now. LOL I followed the line back to the hydraulic "distribution" cause I don't know what it is really called, and the other lever in cab is definitely for that third function or auxiliary hydraulic line. Now I just need to talk with someone who knows more about it and see if it is capable of running some type of grapple with just one line. We'll find out.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that maybe they were running a broom or post hole auger on a single line somehow. Course you'd think you'd need a return line????

Right, you need two lines for a motor. You can run a single-acting (powered in one direction, gravity or spring return) cylinder or a squirt-gun from a single line setup.

Oooh, extra buttons! We put extra buttons on joysticks at work. There's usually extra fun stuff to use on the end of that extra hydro line.

Almost time for round two of caffeine. A long day ahead today. But suppose to rain today anyway. Good day to be inside, most of the time, working.

You folks have a good, safe day.

A cold (36), dreary, foggy day with the rain just pounding down. Supposed to turn to wet snow later today. Caffeine going down really well this a.m.. A good day to stay in, feed the fire, and work out in the garage on something. Everyone have a good safe day.

Looks like it might be a sunny day today. From what I can get from the "net", we are getting a high pressure system over us for the next few days which will influence a Polar vortex over Ontario. Sorry about that but we are going to enjoy the sunshine while it is here.

After breakfast, we are going wood gathering so I had better get my act together and get ready.

Coffee and Breakfast Sammy in. Gotta take my Chrysler 300 to the dealer this a.m. to have my shrapnel- laden air bag replaced. They sent me a notice about a year ago saying it needed to be replaced IMMEADIATELY................unfortunately the notice also said that they did not have the parts and would advise when they became available. Lo and behold, the notice arrived last Thursday that then NOW had replacement parts. Glad I didn't need it in the mean time........................:bug::hair::faint:

Road trip. Off to NY. Long, boring day of travel ahead of me when I could be outside doing something productive.

Another gorgeous sunny day in lotus land here. Taking a load of wood over to Granny's this morning. after that is unloaded, then we'll be moving dry wood down into her basement. Think I will sleep well tonight.
