    Did you read this part?

    (4) The rifle must be used by a hunter who is positioned at
7 least ten (10) feet above the ground.
8 (5) The use of a rifle is permitted only on land located outside
9 Marion County and south of any ofthe following boundaries:
10 (A) U.S. Highway 36 from the western border of Indiana
11 to the western border of Marion County.
12 (B) The southern border of Marion County.
13 (C) U.S. Highway 40 from the eastern border of Marion
14 County to the eastern border of Indiana.
15 (b) The use of a full metal jacketed bullet to hunt deer is
    16 unlawful.

Only south of 36 or 40. I hunt about 400 yards north of 36.

Ok a few weekends I went shooting. I shot some of the auto matches in my ruger 22/45. The FTE was almost always on the first round. When there was 9 in the mag. My step dad came up with the theory of the extra pressure on the bolt as it was traveling was just enough pressure to cause it. I think I may of only had one other FTE in 10 mags other than the ones that were first shot

Are the mags clean? I shoot bullseye with a ruger 22. The mags are usually to blame. If not the mags check the disconnect in the frame. If it's loaded with dirt it messes stuff yp. It can be romoved.....

The frame is probably dirty. I wipe as best I can when I clean it. But I also don't clean this one each outing as its such a pain. But I don't break the handle and trigger group down or anything. I just wipe and brush it out best I can.

Compressed air is your friend with that gun..... I usually have to break mine open every 500 rounds for a good cleaning. NOTE!!!! If you take the barrel off of the frame. When reassembling if there is ANY resistance when pulling the bolt take it apart and try again. The hammer strut can and will get jammed if not positioned properly on reassembly.

The 10 foot rule and the location rule all got thrown out by the house. No worries

I finally shot some of the Federal Automatch out of my 10/22 earlier this week. At least 1 FTE on each mag and a couple FTF but if I ran them through again they'd go off the second try. But this means that Automatch isn't reliable in any of my 5 semi-auto .22s. So much for "perfect for semi autos". They haven't been that accurate in any of my bolt guns either, so I guess the "match" part of the word is a scam as well.

We've put 900 of them through a 10/22 and 22/45. i didnt notice any more issues with these than cci standard. Ill agree about the accuracy though.

Maybe mine are a bad lot. I have 9 bricks, I've had these issues with 2 of them so far. But I purchased them all at the same time, so I'm pretty sure they'll all be the same lot.

Picked up another 1700 rounds last week. Two 325 round boxes of the Federal Match I got earlier and a 555 round box of what appears to be the Winchester equilalent of the golden bullet.

1530. Did my math wrong or forgot the number I came up with last week.

    Haha. Just messing with you.

I saw it and at first thought you scored a 1400 round bucket plus a box. Then I read what you got and was like what???:loco:

Wish I could find that around here. Gander had 31's for 7.99, limit 5. I think my .22 ammo supply is good for now. Time to move onto a new caliber...just not sure what that will be yet.

Putting a couple packs of .22 in the kids' Easter baskets. Better for them than candy.
