checking my local 5 lowes stores all with in 15-20 mins. of the house they have a total of 144 ton sitting, that's a lot to be sitting on with the heating season coming to an end around here. All stores are at $3.98 a bag. come on lowes lower the price so I can be a piggie too.
144 ton between 5 stores is scarce if ya ask me. Get 30 people wanting to pig out and squirrel up for next year and 144 will be history.
Around here this time of year they are normally done for the year so 144 ton is a lot for this time of year but yeah drop them down to $100 a ton and they will disappear quickly.
In the last 5 years, BBS having ANY pellets now was rare, let alone more than 5 tons. So while 144 among all of them isn't much, it surly didn't compare to late February when this binge started, and my locals had 60-100 tons.
Im waiting out my local store too Rich250 . They're sitting on over 30 ton of prestos. Manager said he won't go lower than $4.79bag. The mrs and I stopped in the other night to grab a few things and they were all gone from garden area. I started searching all over the store (she thought i was crazy!) But i finally found them all on the top rack inside near the contractor exit. Taking up alot of room if you ask me. I'll wait him out.
