    Thats interesting, where does "Center of the universe" come from? I don't know much about ashland, but recently took my borther to the COTU brewing company in the airpark just across from the RV park. I assume COTU was a long standing phrase for Ashland?

    Good morning, low 60's with rain/thunderstorms.
    I tried some fishing yesterday, bank fishing the Ol' Slow and Muddy produced a few rock bass, later headed out for some pond fishing in me canoe,,the wind blew me around like a paper kite and the fishes weren't interested in the secret bait...it was good to get out

    I have no idea, and nor did any of the residents I asked.
    Outside of Ashland Coffee & Tea there wasn't much there. One of the few places where it was the "in thing" to live next to the railroad tracks - and then complain to Amtrack about the commuter train horns at 4am:rofl: :lol:

    Glad we are not the only one to have those.. my favorite...
    buy a house next to 900 acre working dairy farm... house to cornfield 150 feet. prevailing wind are south and west are toward your house...
    spend next 5 years complaining to town and anyone else that will listen about the horrible smell of manure..

    Worse part she's a teacher... :whistle: last town meeting old farmer pointed this out to her..
    She complained all the louder his comment .... jeezum crow mam I hope ya don't teach sense...

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol: Meeting had to pause for laughter to die down...
