I have sunk too much $$ in the Blazer over the last 25 years. I do not regret it one bit!

we may get a frost Monday morning - it would suck if we do because everything has bloomed here.
First day of spring tomorrow and we may struggle to hit 50 - first world problems ;)

Pretty much, it gets little use besides weekend warrior and wood hauling duty. This year I noticed more little leaks, and with 2 little kids I don't have the time to give the old girl the love it needs. Can't see paying a mechanic to fix the minutiae, so sold it while it was running and driving good enough.

We'll see, I have had it since just after I bought my house, haven't had to borrow in a while.

That's a nice spring bulb planting.
Enjoy them, my daffodil and lupine blooms have already gone by. The heirloom wisteria trees dug from MIL's house have bloom pods that will need covering.

I'm in the same boat, minus the kidos, old truck sits a lot more since buying the '09 Silverado. The '74 gets all the hard jobs. Plus I'm tentative about putting the bed roller on the new truck and need a bedliner for it to function properly.

Got all but a little wood split before I ran out of room to stack. Got about 23 cord in the stacks now.

You'd be surprised in what you can haul in a trailer. I don't have a truck, and I burn a couple cords a year. I bring it all here from my wood lot a half hour away with my Audi Allroad, and the 4x8 trailer. 1/2 cord at a time.

I did about a cord and a half of splitting today, and hauled a half cord home to go in my stacks. 23 cords? Wow!

I'll be happy if I can get my stash up to 6 cords by memorial day.

My trailer is 4x7, and the Subie is only rated at 2700# so it's a good match. More like 1/3 cord, but it's doable I think.

And like I said in the other thread, I've been eyeing those Tacos for a while, maybe after a year of this I have an excuse for the upgrade

Lions pancake breakfast this morning and since I am able to drive down the cottage's driveway, maybe a trip to the lake today?
