Yup, started as a bad day though. My daughters deer skull disappeared from our barn, I think it was coyotes. So I spent about 4 hours looking and started in our backyard. That she'd was laying just outside our yard, I found it within 2 minutes of leaving the house. Looked the rest of the day and never found it her deer or another shed.
I lost a skull from my garage. Door was open and the neighbors dogs got it-just a 5 pointer , but it still irked me.
Sorry to hear it is gone...Next time put the skull on the roof of the barn. Works great. I'd like to see the deer walking around under that shed.
I would love to see that buck this fall he should put on some more inches already a beautiful shed but this fall might be Boone
I think so too, there's been other drop tine bucks in the area that we knew about. But this one I didn't know was around. It's literally in my back yard so I'll be hanging a camera to see what goes through here. I can hunt really close and the block of woods I hunt I across the road so there's a good chance this deer would make it over there. Drop tine deer has been a dream of mine so this one would be a dream come true to shoot.
When I clicked this I was expecting an addition to the carport woodshed. This is cooler. You need to put skills up high in rafters and even wire Them in.
If you put them on the roof then the sun, rain, and birds will clean them up pretty good...and no rodents or other critters will chew them up or run off with them.
