Here neither, Just wasn't much of a warning. Didn't rain all that much either!

First rumble wasn't much, Second one shook the dishes.

And the stove just fired. Guess we kept the windows open too long. The fresh air and breeze felt nice though!!

They don't do so well in my stove. It will be interesting to hear how you like them. Maybe run some in both stoves to compare?

If you get the Hamers under them, THEN you've got an excellent pellet! The Prestos are no slouch, either.

Interesting - The lady selling has a P61a and heats her 2,500 sq/ft house with the one stove (stove is a celler dweller). She's been burning for 8 years and likes these the best for heat (she kept a log of temps). She kept what she needed to make it thru April and sold me the other 15 bags. She is putting her house on the market, so is cleaning out stuff.

I've never burned them, but figured I could put out $5/bag for what is normally $7 around here. Probably won't be burning them until next year though.

All of those are mine - burned Prestos in the P43 most of the winter. Traded some Okies for the Hamers but won't burn them until next year.

Ran a few bags of Cubex through the stove earlier this heating season. Stove liked them a lot. Good heat, low ash.

29* this AM standing water from yesterday's rain is iced over. Must have been fairly near the dew point, everything was wet out side. Heading down to the low teen's the next few nights. Still burning Stove Chow. They are what I had hoped the unmentionable's would be. Not as clean, nor hot as the LG's, but at $199. per ton I'm all in; that is any time I find them that low again.

Irish pot luck at work today. I made shepherd's pie layering corned beef (diced) with bell pepper/onion mix and topped with mashed taters. never made it before but it is smelling good in the crock pot!

Other offerings include Irish stew, beer bread, bangers & mash, soda bread and cheese, and lots of store-bought cookies and cup cakes (WTF?). One lady is making special whoopee pies; the "cookies" made with Guinness Stout and the filling made with Bailey's (and tinted green). Her last day is tomorrow and she is going out in style :D.
