The 009 that belonged to a friend of mine helped convince me that I needed a small saw.

They don't get much love and can be bought very economically, but if you like the feel of them they're great little saws. I have a good friend that had a tree service for many years and his two go-to saws were an 044 and an 009.

I have an 009 and I absolutely love it. I beat the tar out of mine and it won't die.

Th E 011 is heavier but it's my go to saw for the ATV woods or yard or topping a leaning tree I have to walk up. It still has the power to pull the 14" bar in oak

Yep that's what I use mine for and its a tuff little saw. Mine has a 16in bar on it and it amazes me for how ugly of a saw it is. Wouldn't trade it for nothing

I have a 009. It's a good little saw. I take it camping. Good running beater saw that I don't have much into in case it comes across some sticky fingers.
