I was contacted this week about bringing in this product. Anyone used it or know anything about them?

Found thru a google search, a guy who ran 6 bags recently (11/2/15) and said they were low ash, clean glass, but a bit cooler than his normal stuff. Hopefully This link will work

Have read of several people burning them and they all report low heat output

I love how they all think they are best in the industry!!

Ash is high to be a softy, So I would say hardwood blend. Density is low IMHO and most likely be its downer.

I'm not impressed But ya never know!! Ask for a sample and give em a whirl.

good info, Jay. and the price to me was poor, so i was not about to jump on it when i can buy EasyBlaze SYP for a much better number. lets see if they bite on a 5 bag sample.

I burnt 5 bags in November 2015, they are a blend, kinda ashy, in a pinch they would be ok but lower heat than the hardwoods I burn normally. They were selling for 240 a ton then.

Always nice to have a first hand report - ya never know about the people "out in the wild" and if they are for real or an associate trying to drum up interest.

not really at this point. This Trae Heat was unsolicited, I wanted to know a little more about them. If anything, I think I'll bring in some MWP if I can make the #'s work, and more of the EasyBlaze, i'm just not sure of the mix there.
