    Got a little bit of work (the job kind) to do this morning. After that's out of the way I'm going to try to get mower 100% ready for action. The way things have greened up the past 48 hours I'll probably be mowing next weekend.

    Got some steaks for tonight. :grizz:

    Put a whole hog in the freezer today (butchered up, of course). Need to make some bacon now. Hard to beat the price too...worked out to be $1.39/lb for everything.

    Today, I stacked all the wood I've brought to my house this "spring". I also cut the two burning bushes by the front door way back and hauled the brush to the back to burn. They were at least 9 feet tall. I even got a few sticks of the burning bush cut into 16-17" pieces. I wonder what the BTU rating is on them? I'll find out in probably 2 years. ;).

    Ran the tiller around the front yard after removing the oak stump. Figure a pilot test on growing grass in this area is in order, but too wet to do any grading...walking around in clods of mud.

    Found the first tick of the year crawling up Billy Bob's back when I stopped for a glass of water.
